Mr. Montsho Lekang of MONLEK INVESTMENTS has made an agreement with Sehithwa girls’ netball team last week, on about being their sponsor. Sehithwa netball girls’ netball team has gone 3 years without having a sponsor. They have not been engaging in any of the competitions that have been going for the past 3 years around the Ngamiland district. Lack of sponsor has had a very bad impact to the girls as some of them eneded up leaving the team going to other teams where they believed they be paid.
"I always saw this girls training everytime i passed by their field and decided to one day go watch them play , the way they played caught my eye and i stood there watching them until the end.I was really impressed and after training i had a little talk with them and they told me they were just doing it for fun because they have got no sponsor and there is no how they can indulge into competitions, Mr Lekang said."

Mr Lekang said he started training them as their coach and he trained them very well using the skills he gained during his coaching times when coaching Ngami Junior Netball teams. "I saw the girls had potential and were doing very well so i decided to go register as their coach so that they can be able to show their talent  to the world out there. Mr Lekang explained that they have started their games and they are going at a high speed as they have already won their three consecutive games.

"We are where we are because of Mr Lekang and we are very happy  about it. When concluding Mr Lekang said the team is his second family and he will always make the best out of it.

"EXCELLENT" OZIL RECIEVES PRAISES FROM WENGER

Arsene Wenger hailed the impact made by Mesut Ozil after the German belatedly kick started Arsenal’s season with a performance of real verve and quality in a 3-1 victory at Watford.
All of his side’s goals and most of their best moments were compressed in a first half in which Ozil , making his first start of the campaign and Alexis Sanchez were outstanding  “Ozil was excellent, especially in the first half”, he said. “In the second half we dropped physically, but of course we needed him. I think what we have seen from him today is what we want of him, assists but also to score goals. That’s what he needed to add to his game”.

With his influence on the game fading Ozil was taken off after 70th minutes as Arsenal protected what was by then a two-goal advantage. “Overall I think it was a strong performance, very fluent in the first half”, Wenger said. “In the second half we still created many chances, but we are not capable yet to maintain for 90 minutes exactly the intensity physically”.

Wenger nursed Ozil back to fitness having who confirmed that the Valencia defender Shkodram Mustafi and Derporti’ Lucas Perez passed medicals and are set to sign, granted him an extended break after Euro 2016, in which time Arsenal were beaten at home by Liverpool and drew at Leicster.
But immediately loses him once again, with Ozil named in Germany’s squad to face Finland and Norway. “I believe we paid a heavy price in our first game because we were not ready, we did not have the players back”, Wenger said.
“Now Mesut is nearly ready, not quite, and he goes again. For us the break is not welcome. To reach our best level will take perhaps two or more weeks”.

SERENE WILLIAMS OUT OF WTA FINALS AFTER SHOULDER INJUR

Serena Williams will not take part in the WTA Finals in late October due to a shoulder injury, meaning she is skipping the elite year-end event for the second straight season. The 22-time grand slam winner missed the entire Asian swing due to the shoulder problem and has struggled with the issue for much of the second half of the campaign.

"It's been a really tough year for me," Williams said "I've been dealing so much with these shoulder injuries. My doctor insists that I stay home and heal it... so I can have a chance to play next year."
In September, Williams told CNN she was hoping to make the Singapore tournament despite withdrawing from both the Dongfeng Motor Wuhan Open and the China Open in the same month over health concerns. Besides the shoulder injury, the 35-year-old was hampered by a knee injury in a semifinal loss to Karolina Pliskova at the US Open in September.

She also withdrew from the WTA Finals in 2015, saying at the time that she needed to address her health. Just like last year, Williams didn't play any tennis after the US Open.Williams won one grand slam title this year -- at Wimbledon in July -- to match Steffi Graf's Open Era record of majors but lost two grand slam finals, leading her coach Patrick Mouratoglou to tell CNN that it was a "bad" season for the American.
Williams is scheduled to play her next tournament in Auckland in January in the buildup to the Australian
Williams' pullout from Singapore means that Angelique Kerber secured the year-end No. 1 ranking.

The German took over as No. 1 from Williams two days after winning the US Open, ending the latter's consecutive 186-week reign atop the rankings.Kerber will now headline the field in Singapore, with one place remaining due to Williams' omission. That spot will be taken by either Johanna Konta, Svetlana Kuznetsova or Carla Suarez Navarro.
